We met years ago while I was working at a coffee shop. Every Friday night, Brad and his friends were in a band playing right there at the coffee shop. He always requested me to take his order so we would chat here and there only for short moments. On many occasions, shy flirtatious smiles were always exchanged. On my birthday, my friends took me out to my favorite restaurant where we had dinner and dessert. While driving back home, I noticed Brad walking in the coffee shop with his band. I was feeling brave that night so I told my friend to pull in to the parking lot. I ran in to the coffee shop, went up to him and asked him when he was going to ask me out on a date. I left my phone number on a napkin and walked right out the door. He called me the next day and that night, we went out for dinner and drinks. Ever since then, we have been together!
